Vintage Dorothy Thorpe Pretzel Lucite Brass Candlesticks MCM Pair

Dorothy Thorpe Striking vintage pair of sculptural clear Lucite “Pretzel” candlesticks with polished brass-tone candle holders,

These unusual Mid-Century Modern candlesticks feature substantial clear Lucite rods formed into dramatic looping pretzel/knot shapes, with the Lucite rising vertically to support the brass candle cups. The sculptural design looks beautiful from every angle and creates wonderful reflections through the thick clear acrylic.

The pair displays exceptionally well together and would make a statement addition to a Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, or contemporary interior.
